Adobe Photoshop–the industry standard in image manipulation software! In this introductory class, learn the basics of Photoshop in Creative Suite 4 (CS4) on a PC. This course follows the Adobe licensed “Classroom in a Book” series and will familiarize you with the interface, shortcuts, and a variety of the extensive collection of tools and filters available. This course is great for new users interested in learning the architecture of one of the most popular graphical editors around from the ground up. We will take a slow and methodical pace covering one chapter a week, and little computer experience is required. Material learned here can be applied to national Adobe Photoshop certification (ACA, ACE). Come see why Photoshop sets the standard across the board! Students will need a 1GB (pref. 2+GB) USBpen drive to save work. It is recommended to bring a spiral notebook.
