This introductory course for either digital or traditional film photographers
will explore both the technical and artistic aspects of photography. Technical topics will include how cameras work, the affects of shutter speed & aperture, and competency in the manual modes. Artistic topics will include what aspects judges look for in a photograph at the competition level. This will also include topics such as composition, impact, rule of thirds, and use of filters. You may learn how to score a photograph and produce a small portfolio for critique.
