Become an expert navigator in and out of the Maine woods. Start with basic map and compass instruction and then move on to more advanced GPS technology. Students will participate in 21 hours of classroom study that will include the use of computer map software, reading and plotting coordinates from a topographic map and the Maine Gazetteer.
