Basic Electricity For The Homeowner This course is designed to provide homeowners with all the information they need to understand the workings of their home electrical system, with projects to serve the novice, the savvy do-it-yourselfer, or the homeowner planning to work with a licensed electrician. Projects include learning proper wiring techniques, how to install switches and outlets, installation of a ceiling fan, etc. During the first class, students are required to pass a safety test. If time permits, students may receive instruction on specific projects. Students must wear safety glasses.
