Certified Nurses Assistant:

This 150 hour basic course fulfills Board of Nursing requirements to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maine. The content of this course includes 80 hours of classroom instruction, 20 hours of skills lab instruction and 50 hours of clinical training at an approved health care facility. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to sit for the state exam administered at UTC. Enrollment requires a background check, various immunizations and an intensive application process which includes a personal interview. Application deadline is 08/22/08.
